I am married and the mother of an amazing son.  I am employed full time and I started this small business on the side because this is my true passion. I enjoy spending time with my family and crafting in my spare time. I began selling vintage paper ephemera and collectables as a side hustle. When my side hustle began taking off, I started to find ways to put that extra income to good use and began paying down debt and focusing on my finances. While realizing what works and what doesn't for my personal goals, I wanted to find a way to help others meet their financial needs.  Our Hometown Treasures began as a treasure hunting for vintage finds but what I found along the way was much more than that.  I found myself.  I found a way to take charge of my hard earned money rather than my money controlling me.  Now that I offer a variety of handmade saving challenge books, I have decided my next step in this adventure will be to offer financial coaching 1:1 via phone calls and online. This way I can help others find financial freedom and achieve their goals that they dream about. And a huge thank you to all of my customers for your continued support!
